MEET OUR OPTOMETRISTS

JEREMY W. ANDERSON, O.D., FAAO
Dr. Anderson completed his undergraduate degree at Pittsburg State University, where he graduated with honors. He then went on to complete his Doctorate of Optometry Degree from Southern College of Optometry, where he was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa optometric honors society.
Following graduation, Dr. Anderson completed a residency in ocular disease at the Kansas City VA Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. He received extensive training in the area of glaucoma, diabetic eye care, cataracts, and low vision rehabilitation.
Dr. Anderson also spent two years teaching at his alma mater, SCO. During this time, he gave multiple presentations, both locally and nationally, including at the American Academy of Optometry annual meeting. He is also a member of the Tennessee Academy of Optometry, the American Optometric Association, and the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians.
In 2012, Dr. Anderson completed the requirements for fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry. The designation of FAAO is achieved by only 10% of practicing optometrists.

SUMMER ANDERSON, O.D.
Dr. Anderson completed her undergraduate degree at Tennessee Technological University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She went on to complete her Doctorate of Optometry at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis.
Dr. Anderson completed her internships at Memphis VA Medical Center, Memphis Family Vision, and Pediatric Vision Associates. Dr. Anderson also received a Clinical Research Award during her final year of training.
A native of Manchester, Dr. Summer sought an opportunity to give back to the community in which she was raised. In 2007 she and Dr. Jeremy started Anderson Eye Care.

GREGORY L. MUSE, O.D.
Dr. Muse completed his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at David Lipscomb University in Nashville. He went on to obtain his Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry.
Dr. Muse joined Anderson Eye Care in 2017. Prior to that, Dr. Muse spent 17 years working in a surgical co-management-based office. He has extensive experience in medical eye care, surgical co-management, and contact lens and refractive care.
Dr. Muse is a member of the American Optometric Association as well as the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians.

Jamie Keele, O.D.
Dr. Jamie Keele graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Middle Tennessee State University in 2012. Later, she attended the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. In 2016, she received her Doctorate in Optometry.
Dr. Keele was first introduced to Optometry when she was 12 when she discovered that she needed glasses because of nearsightedness. Growing up, she always had an interest in biology and medical sciences. However, it wasn’t until college when she shadowed her Optometrist that she realized she wanted to pursue a career in Optometry. She saw how rewarding it was and immediately fell in love with the profession.
She enjoys helping people see better and preserve their vision. She especially enjoys working with kids to give them a chance to perform their best in school and life with improved vision.
