Dr. Phil Hammond
About Dr. Hammond
Dr. Phil Hammond graduated from Southern College of Optometry and is a member of the American Optometric Association, The Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians and the Tennessee Academy of Optometry. Invested in his community, he is also a member of the Donelson-Hermitage Exchange Club and the Chamber of Commerce. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, reading and tinkering with old cars.
Dr. Amy Sickman
About Dr. Sickman
Dr. Amy Sickman is pleased to provide comprehensive patient-centered eye care as part of the Hermitage Eye Care team. Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, she attended the University of Missouri where she received her degree in Biological Sciences with a Spanish minor. Dr. Sickman graduated magna cum laude from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. During optometry school, she was involved in Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, a student organization that provides vision and eye health exams to communities living in poverty and participated in mission trips to Honduras, Mexico, and Colombia. Following optometry school, Dr. Sickman completed an additional year of advanced residency training at the Salem Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Virginia.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling, and running. Amy and her husband, Billy, reside in the Donelson area
