State-of-the Art Exams
At Hermitage Eye Care we provide state-of-the art care. Our exams include a review of the overall health of your eye including lids, lashes, cornea, pupil and lens, as well as the retina, optic nerve, and blood vessels to check for common diseases. It also includes a visual field screening, intraocular pressure measurement for glaucoma, your prescription, binocular visual anomalies, and a dilation unless otherwise indicated. You can also add a contact lens evaluation and fit if you wear contact lenses or are interested.
Our services also include medical eye treatment of eye disease as well as co-managing lasik and cataract surgery, saving you time and the sometimes long drive back to the surgeon.
Caring for All Ages
Children’s eyes change frequently as they grow just like the rest of their bodies. That’s why we recommend annual eye exams for children. You don’t expect your child to be able to wear the same clothes they were able to fit into last year, why would their eyes be any different?
Adults make up the majority of our patients and we constantly strive to provide the best service. We know you are busy and your time is valuable. That’s why we do our best to stay on time. Rarely will you wait more than 15 minutes beyond your appointment time to see the doctor. Also many adults are considering lasik or other types of refractive surgery and we offer consultations to find the right procedure for you.
As our eyes age, the possibility of eye disease increases. Cataracts are inevitable for most people, that’s why we co-manage surgery with several surgeons. We will discuss with you your options and find a surgeon we all feel comfortable with. You can even return to us for your follow up visits here in our office which saves you the long drive to the surgeon.
