Richard Orgain, O.D.
About Dr. Richard Orgain
A native of Alberta, Virginia, Dr. Orgain received his B.A. degree in biology from the University of Richmond and his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. He was a member of the Gold Key Honor Society, student member of the Board of Trustees and was listed in Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities.
Dr. Orgain is certified by the Tennessee State Board of Optometry in the treatment of ocular disease and has been certified by the International Association of Boards for Treatment and Management of Eye Disease. He has served as a clinical investigator on different contact lens designs and has used many of these designs in his contact lens practice.
Dr. Orgain is a member of the Tennessee Optometric Association, where he served as president in 1987 and was named Optometrist of the Year in 1990. A resident of Gallatin, Dr. Orgain has four children, Katherine, Sarah, Emily and Brian. They are members of the First United Methodist Church in Gallatin.
Logan Smith, O.D.
About Dr. Logan Smith
After practicing in Sumner County for the last three years, Dr. Smith decided to open Hendersonville Eye Care in 2017. In 2020, Hendersonville Eye Care merged with Orgain Family Vision. Dr. Smith is a member of the American Optometric Association and Tennessee Optometric Association. Dr. Smith is looking forward to providing excellent comprehensive eye care to his patients in this community.
William Parsley, O.D.
About Dr. William Parsley
William Parsley, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in 2016. Dr. Parsley also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Tennessee, which he received in 2012.
With the support and encouragement of his childhood eye doctors throughout his studies, Dr. Parsley was inspired to continue his education and pursue a career in optometry. Specializing in comprehensive care, Dr. Parsley especially enjoys developing personal relationships with his patients and improving their lives by providing them with clearer vision.
In his personal time away from the office, Dr. Parsley loves spending time with his wife and dog, as well as playing the drums and learning target shooting.
